MASSABESIC WON 5-2

It was 1-0 MHS at the end of the first Quarter as the Mustangs controlled much of the play, but  was unable to capitalize until a corner when Mary Duffy Assisted Micaela Jacobs at 2:25.
Massabesic carried the momentum into the second quarter when Emily Jacobs scores at 9:12, but TA would not be denied and Faith Tillotson scored from Zoey Pennell with 1:31. 
The second half started out much the same as the first quarter and was scoreless until Emily Jacobs took control; of a long rebound and scored with 28 seconds left to put the Mustangs up 3-1. 
In the last quarter TA showed their grit as they never gave up. Charlize (Charlie) scored her first goal of the game for MHS at 8:46, but TA's Arianna Agasto scored her first high school goal less than 2 minutes later to tighten the score to 4-2. Massabesic scored another late  goal when at 21 seconds, Charlie scored her second goal of the game to finish the scoring . Ava Gerrish had a nice defensive save, and goalie Lydia Suhy made 9 saves to combine for the win for Massabesic.
T.A.'s goalie, Allison Marines made 11 saves and got a defensive save from Emma Boissonneault to turn away 13 of Massabesic's 18 shots.

The Mustangs travel to Noble to take on the KNights Tuesday @ 4:00, before returning home to host Gorham on Thursday.
