Congratulations to MHS Theater!
On Friday, March 10, the Mustang Theatre troupe from Massabesic High School performed at Thornton High School as part of the Regional One Act Festival. That weekend, across the state of Maine, were eight Regional competitions. The winners from each of the Regionals will continue on to the state competition.
Massabesic High School was one of two finalists at the all class A regional site, where both finalists go on to the state competition. Mustang Theatre is proud of their accomplishment and the success of their show. They have shown incredible work ethic and compassion as they have worked together to produce a wonderful and beautiful show.
We were not able to do a school performance with this show due to four of our students being involved in the VOC programs. Although, our Thursday night performance here at MHS was recorded and can be viewed here by our friends and family. Please do not share the recording beyond our school. We hope you can recognize the hard work that went into this production. The show runs just under 31 minutes, so if your advisory wanted to watch the show, you could within that time.

REVTRAK will be open Monday 2-13 for Spring Sports Registrations at MHS and MMS. The link to sign up is https://rsu57.revtrak.net. Please use a laptop or desk top to sign up as phones or IPads are not reliable to complete the process.
Requirements to Participate

Current physical on file with our school nurse. (Good for 2 years)
Impact Testing Completed. Instructions below. (Required for all grade 9 and grade 11 students)
Academically eligible. (all 9th graders are eligible) Grade 10-12 students must be fully enrolled and have passed all classes from last semester. (Semester 2 2021-22)

MMS Spring Sports ZOOM Informational Meeting
On Wednesday 3-29 there will be a ZOOM informational meeting for MMS Spring Sports. All student athletes are expected to attend with a parent or guardian. This will be an opportunity to learn about our schedules, meet our staff, and review the expectations for the MMS student athlete. Please join us this evening and get excited for the fall!

IMPACT TESTS- Concussion Baseline
Instructions for at Home Baseline ImPACT Test Administration
1. You will need a desktop computer/laptop. If you are using a laptop, click the “tackpad” option.
2. You will need a quiet environment and approx. 25-45 minutes.
3. Log on to www.impacttestonline.com/testing
4. Enter the MCMI Customer Code E77BF97333 (not case sensitive) and then click “VALIDATE”.
5. A tab will open that says “Select Your Organization”.
a. Click the tab, scroll down to Massabesic Middle & High School.
b. Click “Launch Baseline Test”.
6. Make sure Pop-Up Blockers are disabled or the test will not launch.
7. Follow the directions on the screen.
8. FILL OUT ALL DEMOGRAPHICS
9. Proceed to the Baseline ImPACT Test.
10. Read all directions before each module carefully – these are important and some modules are repeated.
11. Tests will be reviewed by your organization’s Athletic Training Staff and invalid baselines will need to be repeated. If you have any trouble, please contact your organization’s Athletic Trainer. Contact Info – emilyaimi@rsu57.org or 247-3146 ext. 2245
PHYSICALS
All athletes at MMS and MHS must have current physicals on file with our school nurse. Physicals are good for 2 years. All who have registered as of today have been contacted if a physical is needed.

Spring schedules are available now for viewing at rsu57.org under the Activities link. Once on the Activities page click “Menu” and a link to schedules will be available. Schedules are also being uploaded into the events calendar available at the same website.
MMS ATHLETICS Spring Season 2023
SEASON START DATE: Monday 4-3-23

Grades 7, 8 Boys & Girls Lacrosse (Combined Teams. One team per gender)
Sign up ASAP if you have not done so already. RevTrak is the registration client accessible via the following link: https://rsu57.revtrak.net/
Students must have a current physical on file with our school nurse (within 2 years) before they may participate in any fashion.
Students must be signed up on RevTrak and have Academic Eligibility Forms completed by their teachers, then returned to the main office. Forms can be found in the main office.
Practices/tryouts for all spring sports will begin on Monday, April 3rd. Late buses will run Mondays through Thursdays.
· All practices will be after school from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
